本研究室以物理冶金、材料力學、製造為主軸,探討可用於包含高強度鋼及輕金屬的複合化結構製造中,使用固態超音波焊接技術的異質界面成形機制,探討不同微結構對機械性能之影響並嘗試理解兩者間之關聯性。所獲得的材料分析及設計知識可用於下述領域:

For the purpose of fabricating multi-material structures including high-strength steels and lightweight metals, the present laboratory aims to investigate the bonding interfacial formation mechanism between similar/dissimilar metallic materials during solid-state ultrasonic welding, based on the knowledge of physical metallurgy, mechanic of materials, and manufacturing process. We focus on the correlation of interfacial microstructures and mechanical performance of joints to understand their relationship.
